In Memory of F.E.

This website would not be complete without a page in honor of mom. For those of us who were privledged to be a part of F.E's life, we were given the greatest gift of all; her. Many of us, had connections to her, the friend connection, sister connection, nana connection. For me, it was the Mother-Daughter connection. A bond that could never be broken

F.E's Career

F.E. started working while attending, St. Stephen High School, in St. Stephen, New Brunswick. Her first job, was at George's Restuarant.

If you have ever worked with F.E., attention to detail, and knowing her job, would more than likely be the words you would say about her. All of her experience was done with on the job training. Places that she worked were, Toronto Dominion Bank in Saint John, New Brunswick, Barrie Plumbling in Barrie, Ontario, MRA, Biological Station, Atlantic Salmon Federation, and the New Brunswick Community College, located in the St. Andrews, New Brunswick area.

F.E's Hobbies

F.E. enjoyed many hobbies. Her first passion was writing. She truly had a way with words. She did, poetry, letters to the editor, freelance writing, and even short stories. Around the age of 20 she found another hobby, photography.

I remember her saying years ago, that she was not an artist. She may not have been able to draw a barn, or a dog, but her artwork was in her pen, and the photographs she captured.

She did knitting, crochet, and oh yes, the quilting bug. When the quilting bug bit mom, fabric was flying everywhere.

F.E. enjoyed trying new things. I honestly do not think there was not a craft, that she did not at least try to attempt.

F.E. The Person

F.E. was the type of person you wanted in your corner. But, if you crossed a line with her, she would let you know. Mom, was the type of person, that would give you her last dollar. This not only extended to her family and friends, but to strangers as well. From an early age she taught me to help others, because you never knew when there may come a time, when you may need the help yourself.

If you asked for mom's opinion, you had better be prepared for it. Telling you what you want to hear, was not an option. People knew where they stood.

Growing up, she taught me to never judge a person by what was on the outside, but what was on the inside.

She was a simple, genuine and true person. The best part about her was she was "F.E"
