Update 17 Dec 2008: In doing some research over the past couple of days, I found information regarding "a" Hiram Palmatier. At this time, I am not sure if the information I have found, belongs to the particular Hiram Palmatier on this page.

Information as follows:

Hiram Palmatier (1848-1824) was a stone mason. He lived in Hastings, Michigan and served as a solider in the Civil War. Hiram married Frances Eaton (1856-1895). Hiram and Frances had the following children:

Duane Palmatier born in 1874 in Hastings, Michigan. He married Bessie Armstrong who was born 1878. The couple had Karl unknown date of birth; Earl born 12 April, 1901, was a clerk in Hastings, Michigan. It is said Earl was single.

Hattie Palmatier was born in 1877. She married William Huddleston who was a carpenter in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The couple had the following childrehn: Eva, Ilah, Victor who was born in 1908. It states that Victor was a city employee in Grand Rapids, Michigan; and that he remained single. Henry who was born in 1910 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Nelson Palmatier was born in 1880. He married Nellie Sherman (1883-1913. It says that Nelson was a contractor in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The couple had the following children: Francis; Gerald, Lloyd born 1906. It also says he was an auto body builder in Saranac, Michigan; he remained single; and Dietta.

Phillip Palmatier was born in 1886 and died 1924. Phillip remained unmarried. The information I gathered said that he was a Sergeant in the US Army and served in the World War, and died at Camp Custer.

Beulah Palmatier was born in 1888. She married Clinton Nicholas, who was born in 1880 as well. It says that Clinton Nicholas was a mechanic in Mishawaka, Indiania. No children.
